It’s built for people who experience anxiety, sensory overload, executive functioning challenges or cognitive differences when navigating unfamiliar environments.

I’m an autistic woman raising three beautiful boys, two of whom are autistic. I know how overwhelming travel can feel when the world is unpredictable, loud or confusing.
NavinMaps was created to change that.
It offers calm, clear and sensory-considered help, including:

NavinMaps is an accessible, sensory-aware navigation app designed for neurodiverse and disabled people who often find traditional maps overwhelming, confusing or inaccessible. This includes autistic individuals, people with ADHD, intellectual disability, anxiety, sensory processing differences and anyone who struggles with complex navigation tools.
NavinMaps simplifies the world. It offers calm, low-sensory, predictable navigation that prioritises emotional safety and user wellbeing. Instead of crowded screens and stressful directions, the app provides clear visual guidance, step-by-step routes, and sensory-aware alternatives — allowing users to avoid loud, busy or triggering environments.
This project is driven by lived experience. As an autistic woman, parent and advocate, I understand the real-world challenges people face when trying to move through unfamiliar spaces. NavinMaps exists because current navigation tools were not built with us in mind.
We are now ready to move into the next phase of development:
- Building advanced accessibility features
- Completing user testing across disability communities
- Partnering with organisations and support providers
- Preparing for national and international rollout
